Ivan Hewett has worked in music for thirty years as lecturer, promoter, broadcaster and journalist. He studied at the University
of Oxford and the Royal College of Music. Since 2002 he has been a critic and writer for the Daily Telegraph, where he is now Chief
Music Critic. He also lectures at the Royal College of Music, and broadcasts regularly on BBC Radio 3. He is particularly interested
in issues around the creation and reception of contemporary music. He contributed a chapter to the recent New History of the Proms, published by Thames and Hudson, and has also written a chapter for a forthcoming book examining the varieties of ‘classical’ music around the world, to be published by Boydell and Brewer in 2016. His book Healing the Rift, a meditation on the dilemmas of modern
music, is published by Continuum.
إيفان هويت ، أحد أهم النقاد الموسيقيين في عصرنا هذه ،عمل بالموسيقى لثلاثون عاما كمحاضر، منتج وصحفي ، بعد دراساته بجامعة أوكسفورد والأكاديمية الملكية البريطانية للموسيقى التاليف الموسيقي . منذ عام ٢٠٠٢ إتجه للنقد الموسيقي والكتابة بالديلي تلجراف والتي يشغل بها حاليا رئيس النقاد الموسيقيين ويحاضر بكلية الموسيقه الملكية ويشارك في إذاعة برامج متخصصه راديو ٣ أيفان هويت يهدي جذأ كبير من إهتمامه للدراسات التآملييه لنتاج واتجاهات الموسيقه المعاصرة بالاخص و تنوع ا الموسيقى الكلاسيكية في صور كتابات عديدة منشورة حول العالم ثا مس و هدسون ، بودل و بروار ، و في ٢٠١٦ سوف ينشر أهم مؤلفاته تقريب الفوارق تآملات في محنة الموسيقه الحديثه ينشره دار كونتي
