Today marks the kick start for the residency of our musicians (Nesma Abdelaziz, Hany el Badry, Saber Abdelsattar and Hossam Shehata) accompanied by young composers Rosilla Adel and Bahaa Ansary. The musicians are collaborating with English composers Tom Coult and Jan Hendricks to coach the young musicians of Aldeburgh. A very diverse group of 30 young instrumentalists, singers and composers are arriving midday to Aldeburgh to meet the mousiness and get to know each other as well as getting to know more about the objectives of the course. The musicians today are going to make small introductions to their interests, music and backgrounds, maybe also do some improvisations to familiarise students with the instruments in focus.
